DeCourcy: NCAA President should be more clear about college experience


That’s the tricky thing about a person attending one year of college. It can lead to another. And maybe another. Baylor’s Quincy Miller learned there was much about the game he hadn’t mastered. So he’ll be back for another year. Memphis’ Adonis Thomas, too, and Trey Burke at Michigan. Whether or not North Carolina’s or Baylor’s Perry Jones produced the sophomore seasons we imagined they might, each is now roughly halfway to a college degree and significantly more mature as he enters what remains, though less now than in the 1980s, a man’s league (Sporting News)
