A look back at news and notes from the past week in UNC basketball recruiting.

Troy Williams will
pick between UNC and Kentucky some time between May 1-5 and will announce his decision via Twitter.

-The UNC coaching staff spent a lot of time this weekend watching 2013 5-star power forward
Julius Randle. Here's a great

Justise Winslow, 2014 SF
Justin Jackson, and 2013 SG

Jalen Lindsey, one of the top small forwards in the
2014 recruiting class, is
a life-long UNC fan and
Roy Williams has taken notice, although an offer has not yet been made. Here's a nice

Joel Berry continues to draw interest from UNC. Here's

-Five-star 2013 small forward
Nick King has a top five of UNC, Texas, Florida, Memphis and Georgetown (in no order).

Kennedy Meeks from Charlotte
may announce his decision within a couple of weeks.

listing the Tar Heels in his top-6.
-Yahoo! Sports looks at
incoming freshmen who could potentially start for the Tar Heels.

Roy Williams has decided in recent years that recruiting one-and-done prospects
sometimes just isn't worth it.
-In case you're still interested, one-time UNC recruit
Tony Parker committed to UCLA.
-South Carolina transfer Anthony Gill briefly considered UNC but has
decided to play at Virginia.
