Roy Williams offers 2013 PF Austin Nichols

Class of 2013 power forward Austin Nichols has received a scholarship offer from UNC, according to Inside Carolina. Nichols, a 6'9" 205-pound power forward from Memphis, Tennessee, plays for Briarcrest Christian, the same school attended by current UNC shooting guard Leslie McDonald.
Nichols, who also received an offer from Duke last week, becomes the sixth member of the 2013 recruiting class to receive an offer from UNC and is the third post player, joining current power forward commit Isaiah Hicks and consensus 5-star power forward Julius Randle. Randle was evaluated heavily by the UNC staff this past weekend at the Nike EYBL event in Hampton, Virginia.
