UNC routs Bulldogs in Mike Fox's homecoming

It may have been the largest crowd ever to watch a UNC Asheville home baseball game, but the Bulldogs didn’t exactly enjoy home-field advantage Tuesday. More than half of the 2,847 fans at McCormick Field wore North Carolina blue. Ranked as high as sixth in the national polls, UNC gave its fans plenty to excited about while rolling to a 10-4 nonconference rout of the Bulldogs. (Asheville Citizen-Times)
