Guess how much UNC and NCSU chancellors make?
N.C. State Chancellor Randy Woodson and UNC Chancellor Holden Thorp were the highest paid North Carolina public college leaders in 2011. They each earned $420,000 in total compensation for that fiscal year, about one third more than any other public university leader in the state. All presidents in the UNC System, including Thorp and Woodson, made below the national median of $421,395. (Triangle Business Journal
