Tar Heels Open NCAA Play Friday vs. Cornell

No. 6 national seed North Carolina will open the 2012 NCAA Tournament Friday at 6 p.m. when the Tar Heels host Cornell at Boshamer Stadium. UNC enters with the third-most wins in the country (44) and have won 15 of its last 16 contests. The Tar Heels have enjoyed tremendous success over the last seven years with five trips to the College World Series. (Tar Heel Blue)
