UNC pitching springs a leak


UNC’s pitching staff entered NCAA Tournament play looking like a juggernaut. The Tar Heels possessed statistics that ranked among the best in the nation, making them stingy in allowing earned runs and hits while being healthy on piling up strikeouts.
