Tar Heels gain experience despite early exit


It’s surprising any time a national seed falls in the regional round of the NCAA baseball tournament. This year, six of the eight national seeds were a perfect 3-0, and No. 4 Baylor was 3-1 heading into Monday night. The exception was No. 6 UNC, which had its season come to an abrupt end after losing to St. John’s in front of stunned crowds at Boshamer Stadium. (Durham Herald-Sun)
