Two North Carolina football recruits have listed the Tar Heels as one of their top two schools: offensive lineman Alan Knott, who’s deciding between UNC and South Carolina, and running back T.J. Logan, who has the same dilemma. Hud Mellencamp, son of John Mellencamp, wants to walk on to the Duke football team. N.C. State basketball commitment Rodney Purvis hopes to make the U-18 USA Basketball squad.
