Amid concerns about a lack of transparency surrounding UNC's African Studies scandal, System President Tom Ross is defending the Board's efforts to keep communication channels open. During Thursday’s meeting of the Board’s Governance Committee, Board member Fred Eshelman said he feels he's been kept in the dark about the investigation. (Chapelboro.com)
