UNC basketball, football slip in latest APR scores

UNC’s men’s basketball and football teams rank at the bottom of the school’s men’s sports in the latest Academic Progress Rate (APR) scores that the NCAA released on Wednesday. UNC’s 2010-11 men’s basketball APR was 909, while the football team received an 895. According to the NCAA’s APR penalties, UNC will receive a public letter from the NCAA warning about the football team’s poor performance. (Raleigh News & Observer)
