ACC to be well-represented at London Olympics

Opening ceremonies for the London Olympics are a little more than a month away, and already, the ACC is building a large contingent of current and former athletes that will represent the United States (and other countries). UNC alumnus Alice Schmidt became the latest to join the list on Monday when she qualified by finishing third in the women’s 800 at the U.S. track & field trials in Oregon. (Wilmington Star News)
