Will Grier has had an exciting start to his summer. The Davidson Day quarterback recently received football scholarship offers from East Carolina, Florida, North Carolina and Wake Forest before leading the Patriots to the Carolina Panthers 7-on-7 tournament championship last week. Davidson Day defeated defending champion Mallard Creek on a last-second touchdown to earn the opportunity to represent the Panthers at the NFL’s High School Player Development 7-on-7 national tournament July 14 in Indianapolis.
