'Carolina' depends upon point of view


The claim on which university is the real "Carolina" has persisted in joshing among fans all week in advance of Saturday's UNC vs. South Carolina football game. But in Columbia, it's getting more serious. The South Carolina athletics department is trying to seize the idea -- it's been selling game-day T-shirts all season stamped with the phrase, "We are Carolina." (Raleigh News & Observer)
