Heels win battle with Devils

Fans saw a thriller. North Carolina and Duke saw teams trying to come into their own. The Carolina women's soccer team edged the Blue Devils 2-1 in the opener of the soccer doubleheader at UNC's Fetzer Field. Although all the goals came in the first half, the second half provided enough moments to keep the 4,717 fans screaming, groaning and cheering. (Raleigh News & Observer)
