Ryan Adeleye Sends Tar Heels To Overtime Win Over No. 8 Duke


Junior defender Ryan Adeleye volleyed home a loose ball in the box in the 103rd minute to lift North Carolina to a 1-0 win over No. 8 Duke in front of a record-setting crowd of 4,717 Thursday at Fetzer Field. The Tar Heels (4-3-4, 2-2-0) claimed their first victory over the Blue Devils (7-4-0, 2-2-0) since 2003 and in the process completed a double-header sweep of Duke. The UNC women posted a 2-1 win earlier in the night. (Tar Heel Blue)
