Spurrier wields a sharp needle


Back in 1989, when Spurrier was the coach at Duke, the Blue Devils beat the Tar Heels 41-0 at Kenan Stadium. Afterward, Spurrier and his team posed for a group photo beneath the scoreboard. Asked about that game Tuesday during a teleconference, Spurrier initially tried to move past it. Inevitably, though, the needle came out. (Greensboro News & Record)
