Khris Francis powers Hornets past rival Smith

Khris Francis ran for four touchdowns and Hillside stopped visiting Fayetteville Smith 35-21 Friday night. The win lifted the Hornets to 1-1 on the season. Francis scored on a 15-yard run on the game’s opening drive, then on a 1-yard plunge over a block by linebacker-turned-fullback Dwight Campbell with 1.6 seconds left in the half to give Hillside a 13-7 lead at the break.
