Dexter Strickland says he's been cleared to play

According to a tweet from North Carolina senior Dexter Strickland, he has been cleared to play less than eight months after tearing the ACL in his right knee. He suffered the injury against Virginia Tech on Jan. 19, had surgery to repair the ACL and a damaged meniscus on Feb. 9 and was cleared to run at the beginning of June.
