Roy Williams to speak in Wilmington

A new set of sports speakers will be coming to Wilmington later this year, and North Carolina basketball coach Roy Williams will start the series. The event will also launch the Greater Wilmington Sports Club, backed by the Greater Wilmington Sports Hall of Fame. Williams' appearance at 11:30 a.m. on Monday, Oct. 8, at the Wilmington Convention Center will be the first of the series. (Wilmington Star News)
