Miami studies tale of two halves in loss to North Carolina


One day later, it still baffled University of Miami coach Randy Shannon his team could play so badly in one half and so well in the other. In Saturday's 33-27 loss to North Carolina, the Tar Heels jumped out to a 27-0 halftime lead. Miami cut the deficit to 27-20 after scoring on its first three possessions in the third quarter, but the Hurricanes couldn't maintain that production. (Florida Today)
