Pittsburgh Penguins, Consol Energy Center bid to host ACC basketball tournament

Consol Energy Center has put in a bid to play host to the ACC men's basketball tournament, a Penguins official confirmed tonight. According to the ACC web site, Greensboro, N.C., will be the host city for the next three years. However, according to the site, the ACC has the option to move the tournament in 2014 or 2015 and award the tournament to Greensboro again in 2016. (Pittsburgh Post-Gazette)
