Big plays stem the tide

Having watched his team's lead dwindle from 27 points to seven, North Carolina defensive end Hilee Taylor knew he had to turn the tide during Saturday's third quarter. So he pointed to the ground -- then put Miami quarterback Kyle Wright there. The sack -- one of three by the Tar Heels at Kenan Stadium -- halted the scoring drive, swiveled the momentum, and ultimately helped secure UNC's 33-27 victory. (Raleigh News & Observer)
