Roy Williams, Bubba Cunningham comment on Holden Thorp's decision to step down

North Carolina basketball coach Roy Williams and director of athletics Bubba Cunningham offered comments in a joint statement regarding Holden Thorp, a Fayetteville native who announced Monday that he will step down as UNC's chancellor at the end of the 2012-13 school year. “It is a sad day for me on a personal level because I consider Chancellor Thorp to be a great friend," Williams said.
