Roy Williams has tumor removed: Tar Heel coaches and players react

North Carolina basketball coach Roy Williams underwent surgery on Wednesday morning to remove a tumor from his right kidney. There are some questions at this point for which we don’t have answers. Questions like: Was Williams’ tumor malignant? At this point it’s unclear. Doctors might need a week or more before determining whether Williams’ tumor was benign or malignant.
