Roy Williams’ absence won’t throw off routine

Assistant coach C.B. McGrath was on a recruiting trip with Roy Williams on Sept. 10 when the North Carolina men’s basketball coach learned he would need to undergo surgery to remove a tumor from his right kidney. McGrath said that Williams took some time to process the news, and then it was back to business. “It was tough for him,” McGrath said. (Durham Herald-Sun)
