Roy Williams’ absence won’t throw off routine

Assistant coach C.B. McGrath was on a recruiting trip with Roy Williams on Sept. 10 when the North Carolina men’s basketball coach learned he would need to undergo surgery to remove a tumor from his right kidney. McGrath said that Williams took some time to process the news, and then it was back to business. “It was tough for him,” McGrath said.
