UNC upsets Miami, 33-27


There are certain triumphs that have enough oomph to inject a program with newfound swagger while forecasting bigger things for the future. It’s too early to tell yet where North Carolina’s 33-27 upset of Miami on Saturday will ultimately register on the significance scale. But if freshman Marvin Austin and his classmates have a say, followers of Tar Heels football better prepare for more excitement. (Fayetteville Observer)
