UNC-Idaho: Money can buy a home game, if not happiness
Saturday’s home game against Idaho will mark the first time North Carolina scheduled a team west of the Mississippi River since Utah came to Kenan Stadium in 2005. While the opponent may be unusual — UNC has never faced Idaho, or any other current member of the Western Athletic Conference — the reason behind the matchup is familiar. Saturday’s game was scheduled so both teams could make almost $1 million. (
