Posted Oct 9, 2012
Freshman Danny Garcia scored his first career goal in the 41st minute to lead No. 2 UNC past Davidson Tuesday night at Fetzer Field. The freshman put the Tar Heels in front late in the first half when Jordan Gafa collected a ball at midfield and made a pass to a cutting Andy Craven. Craven made a one-touch pass to Garcia on his right who tracked the ball down and was one-on-one with the Davidson goalkeeper.
