Bernard’s ‘homecoming’ one more factor for UNC star

Saturday’s game at Miami (2:30 p.m., ESPNU) will be the first time Yvenson Bernard — or Giovani’s father, Yvens — will see the redshirt sophomore play live since he was a junior at St. Thomas Aquinas High in Fort Lauderdale, about 25 miles north of Miami. “Some guys have their family come every week,” Bernard said. “This week is going to mean that much more to me."
