Carolina Holds On To Top Miami, 18-14

Two years ago, a first quarter red-zone turnover cost North Carolina seven points and the early momentum in a 33-10 road loss at Miami. Saturday at Sun Life Stadium, Carolina weathered a similar miscue and rode tailback Giovani Bernard's 177 rushing yards to a 18-14 win over the Hurricanes. Bernard had first-half scoring runs of 10 and 17 yards and gained 105 of his 177 yards after halftime.
