Bernard has happy homecoming, leads UNC over Miami


Giovani Bernard — playing in front of his father in college for the first time, his brother and more than 20 family and friends — did what North Carolina fans have come to expect. He rushed for 177 yards on 27 carries Saturday and scored on runs of 10 and 17 yards as UNC defeated Miami 18-14 for its fourth straight victory. (Winston-Salem Journal)
