Flashback: Shootout at Wallace Wade


One of the best games in any sport that I’ve ever seen was Carolina-Duke. And yes, it was football. Over the last 25 years, the battle for the Victory Bell has largely been nothing but a footnote to the college football season. The one exception, though, was perhaps the most exciting game in the history of the rivalry and one of the best games ever played in the Triangle. (Tar Heel Monthly)
