Tar Heels look to avoid seeing Victory Bell change colors

The winner of the Victory Bell is allowed to paint the bell’s frame in its team color. Which means almost an entire generation of North Carolina players have only seen the bell surrounded by Carolina blue. UNC has won 21 of the past 22 games against Duke — the exception was in 2003. The Tar Heels look to keep that streak going today at Wallace Wade Stadium (7 p.m., ESPNU). (Durham Herald-Sun)
