Tar Heels lose starting OT Brennan Williams for the season

North Carolina’s offensive line will be shorthanded for Saturday’s rivalry game against N.C. State with the loss of starting right tackle Brennan Williams, who had surgery Thursday to repair a torn labrum in his shoulder. Williams was listed as “out” on the Tar Heels’ official injury report. Team spokesman Kevin Best confirmed Thursday night that 6-foot-7, 310-pound senior will be sidelined for the rest of the season. (Wilmington Star News)
