Gio Bernard's late touchdown gives UNC 43-35 win over N.C. State

North Carolina’s long run of futility against N.C. State is over. Meanwhile, Giovani Bernard’s long game-winning touchdown run will live on in Tar Heels lore. Bernard’s 73-yard punt return for a touchdown with 13 seconds to play broke a tie and gave UNC a 43-35 victory here on Saturday at Kenan Stadium. The victory broke UNC’s five-game losing streak against N.C. State. (Raleigh News & Observer)
