UNC’s win could end Duke’s soccer season


North Carolina may have just knocked its rival out of the NCAA Tournament. Danny Garcia scored midway through the first half to give UNC a 1-0 win over Duke in an ACC quarterfinal Tuesday night at Fetzer Field. Now the Blue Devils, which have an RPI of 42, must wait until Monday’s selection show to find out if it will miss the 48-team NCAAs for the first time since 2003. (Durham Herald-Sun)
