UNC player of the game: James Michael McAdoo

Sophomore forward James Michael McAdoo picked up where he left off at the end of last season, setting career highs with 26 points and 14 rebounds in North Carolina's 76-59 victory against Gardner-Webb on Friday night. He took 20 field goals, 11 more than any of his teammates, and made 10 in his fourth career start. "It felt like my first college game," McAdoo said. (Fayetteville Observer)
