No. 11 UNC at Long Beach: Tar Heels tip off at 11 p.m. (EST) Friday

After winning home games against overmatched opponents Gardner-Webb and Florida Atlantic, No. 11 North Carolina hopes to find out exactly where it stands during its first road swing. The learning process starts Friday against Long Beach State (11 p.m., ESPNU) and continues Monday with three games in three days at the Maui Invitational. “I hope to learn that we’re good,” Tar Heels coach Roy Williams said.
