UNC survives Maryland 45-38 to close out season

The ACC won’t recognize North Carolina as the Coastal Division champions, not that it matters to Tar Heels coach . The Heels ended Fedora’s first season on Saturday with a 45-38 victory against Maryland that gave UNC a share of the Coastal championship. Had the Heels been eligible to participate in the postseason, they would have won the Coastal. (Raleigh News & Observer)
