Tar Heels survive Terps’ upset bid

Larry Fedora made finishing at the top of the division his No. 1 goal when he arrived at UNC 11 months ago, and the Tar Heels made it happen Saturday at Kenan Stadium, completing a record-setting offensive year with a 45-38 win over Maryland. If UNC was eligible, it would have played in the ACC Championship Game this coming Saturday against Florida State.
