UNC 14th In Directors' Cup Standings

North Carolina is 14th in the first set of fall Division I Learfield Sports Directors' Cup standings, released this week. Carolina is third in the ACC in the first rankings, trailing No. 3 Florida State and No. 12 Virginia. Carolina's 115 points were powered by its second-place national finish in field hockey and a 32nd-place finish by women's cross country. (GoHeels.com)
