Surprising Antawn Jamison scores 33, leads Lakers past Nuggets

Antawn Jamison reminded fans Friday night that on a team full of stars, his still hasn’t faded. Overshadowed by the Los Angeles Lakers’ offseason acquisitions of Dwight Howard and Steve Nash and relegated to the bench in his 15th NBA season, Jamison had his best game for the Lakers, scoring 33 points and adding 12 rebounds to help the team to a 122-103 win over the visiting Denver Nuggets at Staples Center.
