N.C. State hires Northern Illinois' Dave Doeren

North Carolina State University wasted little time in filling their vacant head football coaching position as Dave Doeren was selected Saturday to lead the Wolfpack, less than a week after the position became available. Doeren, who had a formal interview with NC State Saturday, previously served as the head football coach at Northern Illinois. (WRAL Sports Fan)
