UNC reviews recruits’ visit

UNC's athletic department is in the process of reviewing a pair of official visits by basketball prospects over the weekend to determine whether a recruiting violation may have occurred. The concern was brought to the attention of the UNC compliance office after guard Iman Shumpert told the Web site InsideCarolina.com that a trio of former Tar Heels now in the NBA may have actively participated in recruiting him.
