The good, the bad and the offbeat from the week that was in ACC basketball
Posted Jan 7, 2013
UNC showed its collective inexperience and a leadership void Sunday by allowing Virginia to score 10 of the game’s final 12 points to pull away for a 61-52 victory. Although the tentative ending finally did the Tar Heels in, the real story was offensive efficiency throughout the game. UNC allowed UVa to make 57 percent of its 3-pointers while shooting only 37 percent overall itself.
