Update: 247 Sports cites confirmed reports that Lawson's visit to UNC has been cancelled due primarily to the weather.

Auburn commit Carl Lawson will visit with Larry Fedora and the North Carolina Tar Heels staff today in Chapel Hill. Lawson of the 2013 class 6-2 253 pounds ranked as the #2 overall player in the class, Lawson is very physical and quick off the ball. (Keeping It Heel)
