UNC is heading into its biggest rivalry game coming off a historically bad perimeter defense showing and at less than full strength against one of the best post players in the nation. Roy Williams doesn’t exactly relish the underdog role. But he can see why it fits this time. “Not very good on paper,” Williams said, when asked how his team matches up with Duke. “But we still get to play the game."
