North Carolina isn't in the running for Jones after it received a commitment from another top junior point guard, Joel Berry. But Tar Heels coach Roy Williams offered Vaughn a scholarship after he and assistant Hubert Davis watched Vaughn score 34 points Friday night against Totino-Grace.
