Andre Sherard making an impact for Heels

Andre Sherard didn't know what to expect when he set foot on the North Carolina campus for his freshman soccer season in 2004. Three years later, Sherard's teammates, coaches and Tar Heel fans expect one thing from the center back — excellence. And Sherard delivers. Sherard is playing his senior season for Carolina, hoping to wrap up a stellar collegiate career that will likely catapult him to the professional ranks. (Greenville Daily Reflector)
